Adult Learn-to-Sail
New members of all ages and abilities are always welcome at GSC.
For adults who would like to take up this great sport, as long as you are relatively fit it is never too late.
We do organise learn-to-sail sessions for adults based on demand, so if you are interested please send an email to: training.gsc@gmail.com or send an enquiry via the Contact Form on the Training Page.
The sessions are free to members of the club. For non-members the fee is $125 (associate membership) which gives you 3 sessions. A sessions depends on your level of sailing experience. It could involve going on an Envy training dinghy with an experienced instructor or it may involve a use of a club Laser with guidance in rigging and sailing tips can be provided.

Note: The number of adults learning to sail at any one time is 6. In general this allows for 6 new adult sailors for the Spring sailing season (Sep to Dec) and another 6 for the Summer sailing season (Jan to Apr).
