A one-design class that is sailed in many states of Australia, the Flying Eleven is a boat for young sailors to hone their sailing skills. Many sailors who have sailed Flying Elevens have progressed to high performance boats and Olympic competition.

There is no age limit for Flying Elevens, but to sail competitively the combined crew weight must be not more than 120kg.
